Forklift Operator – Outdoor Yard and Production Support (Day Shift) - Job Description This role focuses on safely transporting finished materials from production lines to yard inventory while operating a forklift outdoors the majority of the time. You will also cross-train in production tasks so you can support the team by filling in for associates when needed. Responsibilities - Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move finished materials from production lines to designated inventory locations in the yard. - Work outdoors approximately 90% of the time while handling loading and unloading activities. - Inspect materials, loads, and equipment to ensure safe handling and proper placement in the yard. - Cross-train in production tasks to provide coverage for associates who are absent or when additional support is required. - Assist with basic machine operation and assembly tasks as needed to support production output. - Follow established safety procedures and company policies while operating forklifts and working around machinery. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including yard and production spaces, to promote efficiency and safety. - Communicate effectively with production and inventory teams to coordinate material flow and prioritize tasks. - Adapt to working in varying weather conditions and indoor areas that m
