Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Machine Operator** **Responsibilities** + Operate production machinery according to work instructions and specifications. + Responsible for general maintenance of the machines, including checking oil levels and monitoring tool wear. + Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation. + Load raw materials and ensure proper machine feeding during production runs. + Perform routine inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality standards. + Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions. + Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate more complex problems as needed. + Maintain accurate production and quality records. + Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience. + Experience in assembly, machine operation, production, or racking. **Pay Rate:** + Day Shift: $17/hr + Night Shift: $18.70/hr _Pay increase to $18-$19/hr after 90 days._ _Pay increase to $20-$22/hr upon ability to run multiple machines at once._ **Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3** + Day Shift: 6AM-6PM + Night Shift: 6PM-6AM 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week - rotating 12 hour shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.70/hr.
