Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The Machine Operator sets up, maintains, and operates production machinery to ensure efficient, continuous, and high-quality output. This role requires a reliable individual who works with strong attention to detail and adheres to safety standards at all times. You will receive on-the-job training and are expected to demonstrate a willingness to learn and continuously improve. The position will train on first shift for approximately 2–4 months before transitioning to second shift; for the right candidate, the transition to second shift may be fast-tracked if needed. **Responsibilities** + Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning, to prepare for each production cycle. + Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed and other parameters, to meet production requirements. + Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines in a safe and efficient manner. + Inspect parts using precision and measuring tools to verify that they meet quality specifications. + Test machine operation periodically to ensure proper performance and to identify issues early. + Troubleshoot and fix issues that occur during the shift to minimize downtime and scrap. + Check finished output to identify and correct any machine-related errors, defects, or flaws. + Keep accurate records of approved and defective units or final products for quality and traceability purposes. + Maintain detailed activity logs documenting machine settings, production counts, and any adjustments or repairs. + Follow established production procedures and safety protocols throughout all tasks. + Use hand and power tools, including those required for setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of machines. + Read and interpret blueprints and other production documentation as needed to complete work accurately. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of experience working with a punch press or CNC machines. + Proven experience as a machi
