Employer: Transdev. Utility Worker/Service Employee Part Time weekend and potential for Full Time late evening shifts Transdev in Providence, Rhode Island is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: + $20.50 - $21.50 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) + Starting pay $20.50 with progression to $21.50 after 1 year. + Full Time and Part-Time shifts available! Benefits include: + Paid Time Off Benefits + Health, Dental and Vision plan offerings + Life Insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays Key Responsibilities: + Maintain the interior cleanliness of fleet vehicles + Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids + Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles + Perform light maintenance to vehicles, shop areas, and related facilities. + Report maintenance issues to supervisor + Other duties as required. Qualifications: + High School Diploma or equivalent + Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years + Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. + Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. + Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.). Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: + Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions – The majority of work is performed outdoors in an open parking lot, work alone and in remote locations. + Frequently walking for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces + Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles
