Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives._ Labcorp is seeking a **Float** **Phlebotomist** to join our team in **Nevada** to include, but not limited to Reno and surrounding areas. **Work Schedule:** Must be available for hours that vary Monday – Friday between 6:15 am – 4:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed **Job Responsibilities:** + Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups + Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. + Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner + Process billing information and collect payments when required + Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis + Maintain patient and specimen information logs + Provide superior customer service to all patients + Administrative and clerical duties as necessary + Travel to additional sites when needed **Minimum Qualifications:** + Nevada state issued laboratory assistant license **Preferred Qualifications:** + Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist + Drawing on pediatrics **Additional Job Standards:** + In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a lab assistant license filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement + Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service + Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments + Able to pass a standardized color blindness test + Be at least 21 years of age + Valid Driver's License and clean driving record + Reliable transportation + Flexibility to work overtime as needed + Exceptional customer service + Strong communication skills; both written and verbal + Ability to work independent
