Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives._ Labcorp is seeking a **Phlebotomist PRN/Casua** l to join our team in **Reno, NV.** **Work Schedule** : This is a casual/per diem position, hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary on from Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 4:30 pm, and weekends. **Job Responsibilities:** + Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups + Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. + Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner + Process billing information and collect payments when required + Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis + Maintain patient and specimen information logs + Provide superior customer service to all patients + Administrative and clerical duties as necessary + Travel to additional sites when needed **Minimum Qualifications:** + Nevada state issued laboratory assistant license **Preferred Qualifications:** + Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist **Additional Job Standards:** + In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a lab assistant license filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement + Able to pass a standardized color blindness test + Strong communication skills; both written and verbal + Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service + Ability to work independently or in a team environment + Comfortable working under minimal supervision + Flexibility to work overtime as needed At LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
