Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Plumber** **Job Description** This role involves installing, assembling, and maintaining plumbing systems in an industrial and commercial environment, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, safety, and adherence to building codes and project schedules. **Responsibilities** + Install, test, and repair water, drainage, and gas lines in commercial and industrial settings. + Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using appropriate hand and power tools. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to determine layout and installation requirements. + Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, defects, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations. + Maintain and service septic and commercial sewer systems to ensure proper operation. + Perform soldering of copper pipe and other necessary joining methods to complete installations and repairs. + Use measuring tools accurately to ensure precise cuts, alignments, and system layout. + Troubleshoot plumbing issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs. + Work closely with production and construction teams to meet project schedules and deadlines. + Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. + Lift and move materials and equipment, up to 50 lbs, as part of daily installation and maintenance tasks. + Document work performed as required and communicate status updates to supervisors and team members. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience as a Plumber in a commercial setting. + Previous plumbing or maintenance experience with water, drainage, and gas systems. + Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. + Proficiency using measuring tools to ensure accurate layout and installation. + Familiarity with building codes and plumbing code requirements. + Ability to solder copper pipe and
