Completes documentation of preventive maintenance and work orders on a daily basis. Uses verbal and written feedback to keep peers and team members informed of progress and problems. + Complies with safety policies and regulations and ensures safety practices for patients, staff, and visitors and attends mandatory safety in-services and safety competence assessments. Complies with regulatory, accreditation, hospital and department policies and procedures. + Provides support during various codes and/or emergencies. + Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. + Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION + High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience EXPERIENCE + Two years' experience required in Missouri and Illinois PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Constant standing and walking. + Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. + Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry. + Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more). + Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
