Completes documentation of preventive maintenance and work orders on a daily basis. Uses verbal and written feedback to keep peers and team members informed of progress and problems.** **Complies with safety policies and regulations and ensures safety practices for patients, staff, and visitors and attends mandatory safety in-services and safety competence assessments. Complies with regulatory, accreditation, hospital and department policies and procedures.** **Provides support during various codes and/or emergencies.** **Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.** **Performs other duties as assigned.** EDUCATION **High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience** EXPERIENCE **Two years' experience required in Missouri and Illinois** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS **Constant standing and walking.** **Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.** **Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.** **Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).** **Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through o
