Employer: Kohler Co.. **Public Area Attendant - Kohler Hospitality** _Work Mode: Onsite_ **Location:** Kohler, WI **Opportunity** Join our detail-oriented housekeeping team and help maintain the beauty and charm of our guest rooms and facilities. Specific Responsibilities Include: + Clean public sitting rooms, public hallways as well as public restroom areas throughout the hotel + Clean and maintain restaurants and banquet halls. + Sweep and vacuum carpets and area rugs. + Polish furniture and fixtures. + Vacuum and polish elevators. + Keep the front of the hotel free from trash. + Clean rugs, carpets, tiled floors, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom & dustpan, and shampoo machine in the Front of House. + Perform daily assigned tasks for restrooms, lifts, back areas, terrace, etc. + Perform special cleaning schedule given by the housekeeping control desk and/or housekeeping management + Report maintenance to supervisor/ housekeeping desk immediately. + Comply with lost and found policy of the hotel. + Assist guests in Public Areas when required. We have Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available. Shifts will be from 2:30pm – 11:00pm. Weekend availability is required. **Skills/Requirements** + High School Diploma is preferred but not required. + Prior hotel/lodging experience is preferred but not required (level I). + Candidate must speak, write, and/or understand English preferred but not required. + Must be detail oriented. + Candidate must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds **_Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future._** **_The hourly range for this position is $17.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
