Headquartered in Boston, Veolia has more than 10,000 employees working at more than 350 locations across North America. **Job Description** **Position Purpose:** Inspects, maintains, repairs and installs mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic equipment at plant and/or pump stations. **Primary Duties/Responsibilities:** + Inspects and performs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic troubleshooting to determine repairs needed. Estimates time and material costs for assigned projects. Dismantles equipment to gain access to and repairs defective parts using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing devices. Re-assembles and tests equipment ensuring safe and efficient operating condition is restored. + Inspect flow meters, gauges, flow ratios, pressures and related controls on instrument panels, computer terminals and programmable logic control units and diagnoses basic operational problems. Takes corrective action per procedure in assigned area. Verifies and reports suspected malfunctions and variances to supervisor. + Performs routine and preventative maintenance, lubrication and minor adjustments on machines and related equipment which may include pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, gates, mixers, conveyors, blowers, dryers, chemical feed and odor control, disinfection equipment, vacuum fi
