Employer: Aerotek. **Maintenance Technician** The Maintenance Technician will independently perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment, including boilers, extruders, autoclaves, welders, and lathes. This role combines mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facilities maintenance responsibilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all machines and the facility. The technician will also create and manage a preventative maintenance schedule, handle basic grounds maintenance, and serve as the primary point of contact for all maintenance needs on site. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on approximately 50 different machines, including boilers, extruders, autoclaves, welders, and lathes. + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems. + Work with hydraulics and pneumatics to diagnose and resolve equipment problems. + Handle AC/DC electrical work, including systems operating at 480V, in a safe and compliant manner. + Create, implement, and follow a preventative maintenance (PM) schedule for all equipment and systems. + Conduct daily checks on machines to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance. + Perform basic repairs on boilers and air compressors and coordinate outsourcing for more complex work when necessary. + Replace motors and perform related mechanical work, with minimal wiring as required. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to support maintenance and repair activities. + Complete grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, snow plowing, and general outdoor upkeep. + Perform facilities maintenance inside the building, including repairs, replacements, and general upkeep as needed. + Respond to maintenance issues promptly and take proactive action without close supervision. + Support production uptime by quickly addressing equipment failures and implemen
