Employer: Insight Global. Job Description Our large Facilities Management client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team in a variety of locations including Orlando, FL. This Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs. Responsibilities include: Addressing plumbing leaks and stoppages, lighting repairs and replacements, minor electrical work, HVAC troubleshooting, structural repairs (carpentry), painting, and furniture assembly Communicate and coordinate with onsite clients and external vendors Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc. Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition. Perform on-call duties and respond to emergency situations after hours Repair various fixtures, including door locks, windowpanes, minor plumbing, and electrical circuits Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures. Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate. Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools. Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments. Qualifications: Experience with basic electrical, plumbing, and exterior maintenance work HVAC Certification EPA Certification Valid Driver’s License with a clean motor vehicle record Previous commercial maintenance experience is preferred Notes: This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
