Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs thermoforming equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production machinery and supporting systems. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair thermoforming equipment used in a manufacturing setting to minimize downtime and maintain consistent production quality. + Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, motors, pumps, and conveyors. + Perform electrical troubleshooting on production equipment and related systems to identify and resolve issues promptly. + Use programmable logic controller (PLC) systems to make edits and adjustments as needed to support equipment operation, without developing new programs. + Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to reduce unplanned breakdowns and extend asset life. + Document maintenance activities, repairs, and adjustments to ensure accurate records and support continuous improvement efforts. + Collaborate with production and other maintenance team members to prioritize work orders and support smooth manufacturing operations. + Follow safety procedures and best practices while working on mechanical and electrical equipment to maintain a safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing thermoforming equipment in a manufacturing environment. + Hands-on experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics, including inspection, maintenance, and repair. + Strong mechanical skills with gear boxes, motors, pumps, conveyors, and related components. + PLC experience with the ability to make edits and adjustments to existing programs; no programming from scratch required. + Electrical troubleshooting skills related to production equipment and industrial systems. + Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals,
