Employer: Amcor. **Job Description** **Job Overview:** The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This position is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and supporting production teams during equipment downtime. The role requires maintaining high standards of work quality, adhering to safety and compliance policies, and documenting maintenance activities accurately. Technicians must have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems (including PLCs), motors, drivers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and plant utility systems. They should demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and effective communication regarding equipment issues. Physical demands include liftin gup to 80 lbs., frequent bending and climbing, and working in a manufacturing environment with loud noise levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always required. **Accountabilities:** + **Equipment Maintenance & Reliability –** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System such as AIMS/SAP to create and complete work orders, document corrective actions, and track labor and material costs. + **Compliance & Safety –** Adherence to Amcor Safety Standards and food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO, QMS, QSI). Use of required PPE and follow safe work practices in all tasks. Adherence to plant and department specific safety requirements including use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safe operating procedures, including compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and others to protect self and others.
