Employer: Aerotek. General Production Worker- $20/hr Job Description General Production Workers operate in a busy manufacturing environment, performing a variety of production tasks. You will support day-to-day operations by cleaning work areas, handling materials, using hand and power tools, operating industrial machinery. Responsibilities - Perform general labor and production duties in a shop/manufacturing environment. - Use hand tools and power tools for tasks such as sanding, grinding, and deburring steel components. - Assist with operating manufacturing equipment, including industrial machinery, forklifts, and sanding/grinding equipment. - Read and interpret tape measures accurately to support precise measurements and production work. Essential Skills - 2+ years of experience working in a shop environment as a laborer or production worker. - Proficiency using hand tools and power tools in a production or shop setting. - Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. - Comfort performing manual labor in a large shop or manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience sanding or grinding steel components. - Experience operating manufacturing equipment such as industrial machinery, forklifts, or sanding/grinding tools. - Experience operating various shop machinery beyond basic tools. - Ability to read and interpret shop blueprints.
