Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dynamic General Production Worker to take a lead position on our 3rd shift team. This role requires an individual who can effectively problem solve and hold the team accountable to meet daily expectations without needing to reach out to the operations manager. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery used to process, grind, dry, and package corncob materials. + Handle raw corncob inputs stored indoors for cleanliness and moisture control. + Follow established procedures to produce consistent, high-quality outputs for multiple industries. + Conduct routine inspections of materials to ensure they are free from contaminants, mold, or moisture. + Assist in rigorous testing and quality-assurance processes. + Document quality checks and report variations or equipment issues. + Set up, operate, and clean production equipment safely. + Perform basic preventive maintenance and alert supervisors to mechanical problems. + Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, PPE usage, and material-handling standards. + Maintain a clean and orderly production environment. + Work collaboratively with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. + Support loading for in-house trucking when needed to meet delivery timelines. **Essential Skills** + Production and general labor experience. + Machine operating skills. + Mechanical aptitude and mechanically inclined. + Leadership capabilities. + Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude. + Good attendance and work history. + Good organizational skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment when needed. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Forklift operation. + Machine operation. + Hand tool proficiency. + General production knowledge. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical knowledge (preferred). + Computer skills (preferred). **Why Work Here?** Enjoy paid holidays, vacation, and PTO
