Employer: Aerotek. Job Title: General Labor Job Description This role operates mill equipment using both manual and automatic controls to produce quality products that meet output and cost standards. You will monitor and adjust production processes, perform quality checks, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while supporting overall manufacturing operations. Responsibilities - Operate mill equipment using manual and automatic controls in accordance with established procedures. - Observe the threading of strip through mill processes and make progressive adjustments to tooling and associated mechanical components as needed. - Minimize scrap and waste by carefully monitoring production and making timely corrections. - Produce quality products that meet or exceed established output and cost standards. - Perform and accurately record quality checks throughout the production process. - Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively to support production activities. - Assist with general production tasks and material handling as needed. - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times. - Follow all safety procedures and watch out for the safety of others on the production floor. - Work collaboratively with team members and also perform tasks independently when required. - Use basic computer and printer functions to complete production and quality documentation. - Handle materials and products using forklifts or other material handling equipment, if trained and authorized. Essential Skills - Previous manufacturing experience is a plus. - Consistent and reliable attendance. - Ability to pass a physical examination and drug screen. - Ability to work all shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. - Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and process accuracy. - Good math skills to support measurements, counts, and basic calculations. - Effective verbal communication skills to work with supervisors and team me
