Job Title: EstimatorJob Description As an Estimator, you will review and analyze project plans, specifications, including drawings and schedules, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project's scope and requirements. You will prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, encompassing labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor services, and other associated expenses. Responsibilities - Utilize industry-standard software and tools to generate estimates, ensuring precision and consistency in the estimation process. - Account for factors such as market conditions, labor rates, and material costs. - Collaborate with the bid team to develop comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and specifications. - Participate in bid meetings and presentations, providing insights into the estimation process and the rationale behind pricing decisions. - Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and information. - Prepare regular reports and summaries on cost tracking and estimating accuracy. Essential Skills - Minimum of 8 years of experience working in electrical estimating. - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field/equivalent experience is preferred. - Proficient in the Microsoft Suite. - Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry, preferably with expertise in electrical systems and installations. - Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices and materials. - Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools. - Strong analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors. - Ability to work under pressur
