Job Title: Construction Technician Job Description The Construction Technician is responsible for executing trenchless pipe rehabilitation work in commercial, industrial, institutional, and municipal environments. This hands-on role includes the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), conducting robotic branch work, operating inspection equipment, performing pipe cleaning and milling, and installing other pipe rehabilitation systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities - Perform trenchless pipe rehabilitation work including CIPP lining, pipe cleaning, descaling, and milling. - Assist with liner preparation, wet-out, inversion or pull-in-place installation, curing, and finishing. - Operate inspection cameras and related equipment to document pipe conditions before and after rehabilitation. - Safely operate tools, pumps, generators, compressors, and other job-specific equipment. - Set up and break down job sites, including hoses, cables, access points, and containment areas. - Follow job plans, technical procedures, and direction from crew leads and supervisors. Essential Skills - 1+ years of mechanical aptitude, either through job experience or personal hobbies. - Willingness to become OSHA certified and demonstrate a positive attitude. - Ability to pass MVR and possess reliable transportation. - Mechanical troubleshooting and service skills. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for 5-10 hours of overtime weekly. Technicians report to the shop
