Job Title: Production Supervisor Job Description This role oversees and coordinates the daily activities of production and operating workers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. The Production Supervisor leads a team on the shop floor, drives continuous improvement in processes and methods, and ensures that production goals, quality standards, and compliance requirements are consistently met. Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers to meet production targets and quality standards. - Recommend and implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and overall efficiency. - Review daily operations and collaborate with technical and administrative staff to identify and resolve production or processing issues. - Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems to monitor performance and detect production problems early. - Analyze production, quality control, and maintenance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement. - Hire, train, evaluate, and, when necessary, discharge staff in alignment with company policies and procedures. - Address and resolve personnel issues and grievances in a fair and timely manner. - Prepare, maintain, and review production reports, ensuring accurate documentation of output, downtime, and performance metrics. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records related to attendance, performance, training, and other relevant information. - Ensure safe operation of machines and tools and promote adherence to safety procedures and guidelines on the production floor.
