The Maintenance Technician ensures facilities remain safe, reliable, and fully operational by diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and coordinating with external contractors when needed. Responsibilities - Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related building systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems to restore proper function. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner. - Inspect buildings and premises regularly to identify safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate or mitigate those hazards. - Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks that require outside expertise. - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. - Maintain an organized inventory of supplies, parts, and tools needed for repair and maintenance tasks. - Document all maintenance and repair work accurately and maintain logs for future reference and compliance. - Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. - Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and provide courteous, professional customer service.
