Employer: Insight Global. Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Underground Construction Laborer to support residential fiber optic installation projects. This full-time role involves manual labor and teamwork in underground construction environments, including hand digging, assisting with horizontal directional drilling (HDD), and performing site restoration. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions as part of a crew. Key Responsibilities: • Perform manual excavation, including hand digging within tolerance zones, in full compliance with state excavation laws and 811 locate requirements • Assist with Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations, including conduit pullback • Support the crew in all phases of underground fiber optic installation in residential areas • Safely place and set vaults, pedestals, and related underground equipment • Follow construction specifications closely and maintain a high level of compliance with project standards • Perform restoration work including backfilling, compacting, and general site cleanup Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site at all times We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
