Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Carpenter** to join our team at NASA Goddard Space Flight Facility (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD! **What You'll Be Doing:** + Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as walls, partitions, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, cabinets, and frameworks. + Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and building plans to determine layout and work requirements. + Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal studs, plywood, drywall, and other building materials. + Install framing, sheathing, blocking, and bracing for structural and non-structural applications. + Perform finish carpentry including trim, moldings, casework, cabinetry, and hardware installation. + Install and align doors, frames, windows, and associated hardware to ensure proper operation and fit. + Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and effectively (saws, drills, nailers, levels, etc.). + Layout and verify dimensions using measuring tools, levels, squares, and lasers. + Coordinate work with other trades (electricians, plumbers, etc.) to ensure timely project completion. + Follow all safety policies and procedures, including fall protection, PPE, and jobsite housekeeping standards. + Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with codes and specifications. + Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe conditions. + Complete daily reports, timesheets, and material usage documentation as required. + Perform other related dutie
