Job Title: General Laborer - 1st shift $19 to $20 an hour Job Description As a General Laborer, you will perform a range of tasks within the shop, ensuring that each day brings new challenges and opportunities. Your duties will include sweeping shop floors, properly discarding scrap, moving large scrap containers with a forklift, supporting the shipping and receiving department, making cuts on saws for the welding team, deburring parts, and working in the paint booth by blasting, priming, and painting. Responsibilities - Sweep shop floors and properly discard scrap. - Move large scrap containers with forklift. - Support the shipping and receiving department by packaging and labeling. - Make cuts on saw for welding team. - Deburr parts as needed. - Work in paint booth by blasting, priming, and painting. Essential Skills - Ability to perform shop math, including adding and subtracting decimals and fractions. - Ability to read tape measure down to the 32nd. - At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting requiring physical lifting. - Operation of hand and power tools. - Valid drivers license Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience in blasting, priming, and painting in a paint booth is a plus. - Sit down forklift experience is a plus.
