Job Title: Mechanical Installer II Job Description The Mechanical Installer II role focuses on the installation and commissioning of robotic arms, sub-stations, and related material handling equipment in a large distribution center environment. This position suits mechanically inclined individuals who are comfortable using hand and power tools, following detailed instructions and diagrams, and performing a mix of technical installation and general labor tasks. You will contribute to building and setting up advanced automation systems while supporting project teams with material handling, cleaning, and basic construction-related activities. Responsibilities - Install approximately 20 robotic arms, around 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing according to project requirements and diagrams. - Perform installation and assembly work primarily on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels in the distribution center. - Use pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalogue materials, ensuring accurate and organized material handling. - Operate hand tools and air-powered tools to commission towers and equipment following step-by-step instructions. - Run wiring for power supply and related connections as directed, ensuring clean and safe routing. - Support project teams by assisting with commissioning activities, including basic mechanical assembly and setup of robotic arms and stations. - Carry out general labor tasks such as sweeping, cleaning warehouse areas, loading, packaging, and assisting with construction-related duties as needed. - Follow blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions to complete installations accurately and efficiently. - Handle moderate to heavy material handling tasks, including consistent lifting of 40–50 pounds. - Maintain good attendance, arrive on time, and follow directions from supervisors and project leads. - Work flexibly across multiple positions, including inventory support, housekeeping, and other assigned duties. - Adhere to a
