Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** As a Forklift Operator, your primary responsibility will be picking parts, hardware, and subassemblies from the warehouse to supply the production line. You will spend approximately 70% of your time operating a forklift, while the remaining time will involve loading and counting parts by hand. You will work from printed pick sheets that detail bin locations and delivery points on the production line. This role requires expertise in forklift operation due to the high traffic environment. Additional duties include performing inventory counts and assisting with truck unloading to restock shelves. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklift to transport parts and subassemblies from the warehouse to the production line. + Manually load and count parts when necessary. + Work from printed pick sheets to locate bin positions and delivery points. + Perform inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy. + Assist with unloading trucks to restock warehouse shelves. **Essential Skills** + Proficient forklift operation skills. + Experience in inventory management and material handling. + Ability to read and write clearly. + Understanding of part numbers and locations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum of 6 months of forklift/equipment operation experience. + Training and certification in forklift operation within the first week. + RF scanner experience is advantageous but not required. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the unique opportunity to be involved in the revamp of the brand from the ground floor, providing a dynamic and exciting work environment. **Work Environment** The work takes place in a production plant where the warehouse processes a high volume of materials and parts daily to supply the production line.
