Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: Machine Operator** **Location: York, PA** **Shift: 3rd Shift Sun-Thu 11p-7a** **Pay: $21/hour** **Job Description** We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join the Finishing department. In this role, you will be trained to operate multiple machines, including die cutting machines and the liquid dip section. While initial setup is not your responsibility, training will be provided over time. Your primary task will involve monitoring the machines to ensure smooth operation. **Responsibilities** + Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions. + Perform adjustments or repairs, such as opening valves, changing forming and cutting dies, setting guides, and adjusting temperature controls. + Record and inspect all quality checks in the computer database, ensuring compliance with quality standards. + Lubricate, sanitize equipment, and perform troubleshooting, minor mechanical adjustments, and preventive maintenance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of tools, machines, and safety precautions in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to use creativity and initiative for efficiency or safety improvements. + Experience with machine operation, setup, and lockout tagout procedures. + Experience with tools such as tape measures and calipers. + Forklift operation experience. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
