Employer: Aerotek. **Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** This role involves providing support to dump room lift truck operators, dock checkers, and dump operators to ensure the accurate completion of the daily production schedule in a food production facility. **Responsibilities** + Verify the accuracy of bulk items assigned to run with those listed on the production schedule. + Communicate any bulk product deviations from the production schedule to the Shift Supervisor. + Collect and empty all full, good product tubs back into the operating system. + Scrape and sweep catwalks and floor areas. + Open, sort, and break down product totes as required. + Stack and strap dunnage totes as necessary. + Sort and stack tote pallets as needed. + Work in a manner that conforms to all facility GMPs, food safety practices, and company policies and procedures. + Relieve primary room lift truck operators in the event of absences and for break periods. + Perform a final sweep at the end of the shift. + Maintain good housekeeping conditions for the dock checking, scale, and product crushing areas. + Perform all additional M-Room/R-Room duties as assigned. + Help to produce the highest quality of finished product. + Adhere to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). + Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety. + Report any food safety, health & safety, and quality issues and initiate action as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Prior production experience. + Ability to lift 40 lbs comfortably. + Ability to be on feet for an 8-hour shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General production, general labor, warehouse worker, material handler, shipping & receiving skills. **Why Work Here?** This is an opportunity to get your foot in the door and start your career with a great company.
