Responsibilities - Clean and prepare parts and components prior to painting and assembly. - Assemble components using hand and power tools according under a supervisor's direction. - Handle, move, lift, push, pull, and carry parts and materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. - Inspect parts and assemblies visually and with basic measuring tools to identify obvious defects or issues. - Follow established procedures and safety protocols in a shop environment, including the proper use of required PPE. - Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work, report issues, and support smooth workflow. - Stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as needed to complete daily duties. - Adapt to working around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, vibration, and high noise levels while following all safety guidelines. - Support other departments as needed
