Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com . **This role in summary** The Electrician function specializes in the installation, repairs and maintenance of electrical components, wiring and electrical equipment in all machinery and facilities. This role utilizes tools and testing equipment to complete electrical work and typically works on the most complex aspects of projects. **Your responsibilities will include** + Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. + Figures layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools. + Installs, connects, tests, and sustains electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including climate control, security, and communications. + Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring. + Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assem
